CULT: shade tolerance

Has anyone had success growing irises in dappled sun/light shade
conditions? I am in Zone 6. The area I would like to plant in is
standing water in spring and damp during the summer months covered by
swamp maples which allow filtered light. I have only had experience
with TB's and Siberians. I planted some Louisiana rhizomes this fall
but won't know the results until next year. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

yet! My newest transplants should have a good head start for next
spring.
