Dear Marcella, (Had a good friend in college with that name!) Welcome! With
all those acres you need to join the Reblooming Iris Society so you can enjoy
TBs more than once. And there are members in Montana who have success with
rebloomers. So I will ask the Pres. of the Reblooming Iris Society to send
you the info about joining in case you would like to. It is the largest
Section of the American Iris Society and we also have a publication which
will be coming out this fall, and if you joined, I think you would get on the
list.I guess you must be young to have the energy to think about having 23
acres of irises! One of my good friends has about that amount of acreage in
Penna. in USDA zone 6 (BY THE WAY, you didn't give your zone, which is
important on email - also, for filing , it is nice to know the lst name of
members) Well, as I was saying, Friendship Gardens in Pa. sells rebloomers
as well as other kinds - send me (privately) your mailing address and I'll
send you this past year's catalog. You won't be able to order from it, but
it will give you some ideas. I'm glad we have another recruit who
appreciates the wonderful world of irises! How did you get interested? Tell
us something about yourself, hmm?
Rosalie nr Baltimore (immediate past president of the Reblooming Iris Society
--- so you see why I'm prejudiced !) zone 7 where we have Arctic temps, but
it is supposed to get warmer mid-week ryfigge@aol.com
