I agree with Donald on current uses. I just used it today to list off
the Ensminger cultivars.
I would use the CD version if I could bring it into Paradox or
similar database system by setting up a data definition. Use the
Paradox query capabilities and set up a secondary database of
Ensminger hybrids to list out description, year etc. Use as input to
selected data elements such as description, year, seedling etc and
eliminate keying of those elements into my database. It would be cool
to have the hybridzers description as input to my database. I always
thought there was a lot of literary license in some descriptions.
Or just browse and daydream.;>)
Linda stated the reasons and uses rather succinctly. I have nothng to
add.
