Gleefully 'sinned' and bought a baggie of three irises labeled "PAINTED
CLOUDS Re-blooming bearded iris" from Hans Brinker, "guaranteed to grow"
"blooms twice a year" $5
?really? checklist doesn't mention rebloom.
This package is a little different from previous 'rescue' purchases - it
has a warranty "If for any reason you are not satisfied with the results
[?!!] of the product you have purchased write to....replace at no
charge".
So, maybe I will hold them to it <g>
Assuming this turns out to be what it says it is, anybody grow PAINTED
CLOUDS? Does it actually rebloom? Photo on the package is of a pink
plicata-ish looking bloom.
Anybody want to place bets on 1) whether all three are the same
cultivar, 2) whether or not they bloom, 3) whether or not any/all
actually are PAINTED CLOUDS, or 4) whether or not they rebloom here?
Couldn't resist playing the game...
