John,

Howard Shockey lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he conducted his
iris operations under the name Arilian Acres. However, he died in 1995, and
I believe his iris business is no longer in operation. Howard was primarily
a hybridizer of Arilbreds, but he also introduced a number of very nice
TBs. Crystal Dreams was a slow grower, but a binge bloomer here. It would
sulk for two or three years and then put out a tremendous burst of bloom,
after which it would repeat the cycle.
