This should have specified Tall Bearded irises only.  Other classes have 
different criteria.  For example: most Miniature Tall Bearded irises are 
diploids derived from I pallida and I. variegata (which is classified as 
MTB).  Some recent MTBs are tetraploids involving I. aphylla.
