HYB:Color:Variation

Just got quite a shock. Thought I would bring it to the experts.

I have this seedling that bloomed first in the fall. It's a dark purple with
a white flush up the ribs of the standards. Then it bloomed this past
spring! Opps! It's a much lighter and 'silvered' purple with no discernable flush
on the standards.

Now it's blooming again . . . back to dark purple (clear and clean).
(different soil, but same color) So it's a seasonal variation. Blooms this color in
cooler weather.

If you saw the blooms, both spring and fall, you would say it's impossible.
Yet, it IS the same plant! Anyone seen THIS wide a variation from spring to
fall?
