I wish there were more photos. Sometimes, they are in AIS Bulletin ads
when they are introduced. Maybe Bobby Baxter will go take pictures of
them for us?
Suttons' and Winterberry Gardens carry some of his intros, but
Friendship Gardens in Pennsylvania is where he introduces all of his
plants. I tried to order from Friendship this year for the first time,
but it was a bad year for them (see earlier posts from friend Rosalie
Figge) so she sent my check back. I don't have a catalog, never have
seen one, so don't know what kind of selection she keeps.
Maybe somebody who has a catalog can comment?
I downloaded the names of all of his intros, then looked up all the ones
in the 2000, 2001,& 2002 R&Is that are unflounced & hornless TBs.
I have quite a few of his older ones, but not anything very recent. A
few of them perform so much better here than much of the other stuff
I've tried, I'd like to try a few more.
<Does L. Zurbrigg have a site that pictures his intros? Or can you lead
me to another source for pics of his plants? I LOVE his irises...and
want more of them. Who carries these in their catalogs? Does he put out
a list or cat? Thanks in advance for the info. Donna Lockman NC z7/8>
