Rita (or others), which of the Niswonger orange or pinkish amoenas are
the most reliable?
I haven't grown many of his intros, but have a few now that are doing
well here (MISSOURI MIST, CORAL BEADS, HONEY GLAZED) and I'd like to try
a few more.
MM isn't an amoena, but is a nice reverse bicolor blue that seems to be
a good one here. Too soon to say for sure (new last fall), but it had a
nice normal height stalk, set a pod for me, & is still growing <g>.
I've grown HONEY GLAZED for years, but haven't tried any crosses with
it. Anybody know if it's fertile?
<I asked Dave Niswonger and he says it [DESIGN IN CANTALOPE] has not
rebloomed for him in Southern Missouri. Rita Gormley Gormley
