Neige de Mar

Can anybody give me information about the iris named NEIGE DE MAR.  It is a
Cayeux introduction, probably of quite a recent year.  Friends who have the R
& I books could not find it in there, though they may have missed it, I
suppose.   At the very least I'd like to know what the French name means in
English, but also  the year of introtuction and a brief description.   I don't
even know if this is a TB, though there's reason to believe it is.  It came
from the garden of the late Larry Harder, so it has to be at least 3 years
old, but there was no data on the garden label other than the name.   Larry's
garden was full of new things, and he didn't tend to keep older iris very
long, though he knew them well.  I hope somebody knows this variety and can
supply the information.
