John,  why are you taking this personally?  As far as being snide and
gloating.... well, the daylily CD was the work of over 140 people, not any
one person made it come together.  I think the daylily Society is very proud
of it.  I also think the iris Society will be proud when it has one.  Many
feel that the time is appropriate to expect such things given the ease and
resources available in today's climate.  I remember how the daylily people
were ranting 6 to 8 years ago because there was no electronic availability
to the registration data.  I have not seen the same of level rant from the
iris folks but feel there is a desire for such a product.  Many people are
looking forward to completion of the project you and your team are working
on.  It will be very helpful and appreciated.
