Thanks, Char.  I've never used any of the deterrent sprays because I've 
read they tend to have only a temporary effect on deer, but I suppose it 
wouldn't hurt to try.  Perhaps if I only used it in early spring and 
again in late fall, the deer wouldn't become accustomed to it and immune 
to its deterrent effects.
