Re: HYB: mixing colors

RENOWN crosses so far:

CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE
STUNNING (1 pod last year, 2 more this year)
SUNNYSIDE DELIGHT
reblooming amoena sdlng (IMMxCSong)

Some seedlings from these may be big enough to bloom next spring.

Pretty mixed up...

A "mix" cross that gave a surprising (to me, since I don't understand
pigment expression very well) color last spring was HARVEST OF MEMORIES
X SPANISH REBEL. The bloom was a smooth caramel bitone. I didn't do
pigment extraction, but I guess that's both blue and yellow pigments?

In one of my first crosses, DESERT REALM X MONTEVIDEO, the seedlings
bloomed a similar color, but heavily dotted (sort of WILD JASMINE ish)
rather than a smooth self.

<Anyone had experience using RENOWN with other colors? I don't quite
know
the terminology here . . . but does it color
blend? The ancestry is purple and
                     white. >
