Tried to catch up a little tonight and see I've been missing out while I'm out of town.

I haven't bloomed any Renown seedlings of my own yet.  I think I will have some next spring, but I haven't mapped the 04 seedling bed yet and don't know what germinated and what didn't. I had almost 30 crosses with zero germination which ended up getting held over for another try this winter.  I can't believe I am saying this- but it would be nice if we had a bit more snow this year.

There is a cross of Tara's Choice and Renown that should be interesting.  I also wanted to see what would happen if it was crossed on a luminata, but don't think the Renown and Fancy Woman cross germinated.  There's two seedlings for sure from First Wave X Renown that should be interesting.  

I would expect that if crossed to some brighter colors, you could greatly improve the color.  Many people have recommended it as a parent, or I may not even grow it. 

I do have a really good tall stalk on Masterwork right now.  I haven't seen it bloom enough under different conditions to know for sure, but it seems that it will be somewhat affected by the weather.  I did have a number of Masterwork seedlings this spring.  In general they had smaller flowers, but some had decent branching.  None rebloomed, but the parentage would not have led me to expect it this generation.
