HYB: pigments, Bulletin


Chuck - <wonderful> article and photos!  Wish I'd had this to read and
look at when I was first trying to understand pigments.  Like you say,
the plastids don't show very well in the cell in the <center> of Figure
7, but they are clearly visible in the surrounding cell walls.

Somehow, I had missed the part about the plastids being embedded in the
cell walls.  The whole 'story' (i.e., layering of pigments) makes a lot
more sense to me now.
