Thanks Betty - interesting.
I do like the form on MACHISMO (photos anyway), better than WEARING
RUBIES. It arrived here from Oz in March, made two bloomstalks this
summer (potted in near sterile dirty perlite), produced pollen, but I
didn't save any. I keep forgetting that bud count and branching can be
a problem - not true for most of the weedy kids so far.
I was going to take a photo of the pots of CORDOBA, WR, and MACHISMO,
but wasn't able to find WR. Either I've lost it, it's still struggling
out in the gravel rows, or I just couldn't find the pot. Nearly 100
cultivars in big pots now, much easier to manage to get good pollen than
out in the "garden".
