Oh my goodness - so the data from Loomis might be more applicable to my growing conditions than I thought! <g>

or maybe that should be :-(

Or maybe not - low humidity there means foliage would dry fast, so still wouldn't have the kind of foliar disease problems we get, just rotten roots & rhizomes.

Do any of you know whether the daily watering has been true for Loomis all along? If so, I am going to have to go back thru all the reports on their winners and maybe try to grow a few.

It is in a park where the grounds people insist on watering the grass and irises every day. This caused a lot of losses from rot.
