Indian Summer -- at last! This October must rank as one of the coldest and windiest on record here. Yesterday's ferocious winds dropped a branch on HAUNTING, snapping off what would have been the Halloween bloomstalk. Fortunately, there's another, but it will miss the spooks.
The last of the year's transplants are in the ground, and am spending the afternoon making labels -- a drudge, but gotta do it. Not much greater frustration than losing track of a seedling's identity. -- Griff
