The parentage of your cross is interesting and I will note something.
Your seedling has I. suaveolens as a grandparent in from the 'Clown Pants' (I variegata x I. suaveolens). I also had a seedling of unknown diploid pollen from a 'Tom Tit' pod, a diploid dwarf from I. suaveolens, that also rebloomed. It surprised me as well as did your cross. This also means that the I. suaveolens was a grandparent. However the plant rotted and died, so don't ask me for any of it <wink>.
So there might be something that I. suaveolens contributes to rebloom capabilties. Determining that might be difficult based solely on your and my seedlings as I. variegata has rebloom capabilites as well. Time and further crosses will tell.
