Once I have a chance to check the garden I may find some washing in the 2
newest beds. The rest will not suffer. But, if you can imagine 48 hours with
a steady drizzle to slow rain? There have been a couple of brief periods
with heavy down pour. It is about as perfect, as a rain can be, after a long
drought. We were dry to the core. No puddles in the driveway or the low spot
in the neighbor's back yard.

It is supposed to rain off and on thru Friday. Much of the region was on
voluntary water restrictions. The remainder will be good to fill the lakes and,
maybe, prevent the need for moving boat docks and the like. Anything that
builds up there may be important if I want to water next summer.
