Took a minute to go back to the archives.  Best advice I have is to leave them
alone other than to water.

As an example . . . of things that happened due to extreme hot summer in KY:
I planted seedling on April 6 and again on May 16.

Now: the seedlings planted on April 6th are extra strong and pretty plants
(fans) and the ones planted on May 16 are about half the size of the earlier
group and not so lush.  Both should have been early enough (past experience)
to produce bloom next spring.  They were watered the same.  My thought is that
the April batch had more time to establish roots before the heat hit.

This summer was not good for planting.  Things I've planted after the break in
extreme heat are doing well.  I'm thinking it was hot in Missouri too?

My guess is that people are still pretty busy in the iris beds.  At any rate,
his is my excuse.

olks have pretty much quit posting here - not as good a place to get
lp as it used to be.
 Can anybody tell me what I might be able to do for these plants?
