Hi,

Siberians are notorious for self pollinating. I suspect that Mr. Wiswell
put D. K. Williamson pollen onto Red Emperor after it had been pollinated
by itself or another Siberian.

Anyone have an idea if this Registration is in error and what it should
be? Pollen parent is an LA and 'Claret' has three Registered Siberian
decendants. Also, all of Wiswell's Intros are Siberians except 'Amazement' which
is supposedly a TB x SIB cross.

CLARET

(G. Wiswell, R. 1966) SIB, 24" (61 cm), M
Claret self; gold and white haft. Red Emperor X Dorothea K. Williamson.
Fairmount 1966. HM 1968.
