well, what do you expect when the early checklists referred to
arilbreds as "miscellaneous bearded" (TMB or DMB depending on size).

At least that ignoble classification was never solidified enough to
become an awards category. I can just imagine a hybridizing winning
the "whozit medal" for "whatnot irises".
