Ok, you win. I am a retired U.S Civil Service Senior Executive (37 years
service, last position: Director for Research Program Management, USEPA).  I
usually respond when asked what I do for a living by telling people that I'm
on government welfare.  But I got it the hard way...that is, I earned it.
