column in the January AIS Bulletin. A couple of people had previously asked
me if I had this info, and I did not until yesterday. People on the list get
information faster that others, so here are the irises that picked up top
prizes in Italy this year:
International Iris Competition in Florence 1996
In 1996, the Primo Firenze (Gold Florin) in the Florence, Italy competition
was the Schreiners CELEBRATION SONG. This is the same outstanding cultivar
that tied for lst Runner Up for the Cook Cup in 1995. Other winners at
