anyone heard any predictions about what's going to happen here???

I had noticed that I got very few bee pods this year. I usually have scads
of them because I do not pick my spent blooms. Rather I leave them in
the hopes that I will have the time to evaluate each of my iris. I assumed
that the lack of bee pods was caused by the dry weather. I also notice
that this year we have almost no wasps. Normally they are a real
problem flying around and bothering everyone. This year I have only
seen 6 or 8. Wonder why there are fewer of them?
