Good point. When you think about it - your 2 legs and the monopod = a
tripod. Some people have very good success with this. ME, well not
much
to tell. My tripod is ultra light weight. A 6 year old could carry it.

I am afraid that with my grace me and the monopod would end up in
the middle of the iris clump. (now that would be a lovely picture). Guess
I had better stick to the tripod.
