According to the 1969 checklist:
SHIPSHAPE ( S. Babson, R '68).  Q46-11. TB, 38", M, Bl. Medium blue 
self.  Pacific Panorama X Epic.  HC '68. Melrose '69.
Neither parent is listed as a rebloomer either.
What a great surprise for you!  I have my first reblooming iris this 
week.  I don't know what it is, but it's great anyway!
