I say "off topic", because I am not necessarily referring to iris speakers.
Here's the situation...... two years ago, the Buffalo Science Museum
sponsored a two-day Horticulture Conference in concert with Horticulture
Magazine (somehow). It was a marvelous event and they're going to do it again
this year.
This year, Kathyguest will have input (in a round about way) into the
speakers/program - so I'm looking for highly recommended speakers to throw
into the hat. Some folks that I've thought of already are:
Tony Avent
Dan Hinckly (sp?)
Ken Druse
.... but those are just people I'd admire - I've never actually heard any of
them speak.
If anyone has any recommendations, I'd like to hear them. Please e-mail me
privately so JIJ doesn't have to drag out his treacherous old soapbox to
remind us what kind of list we're on.
But kathyguest happens to know that most folks do not only grow one kind of
plant - nor does that describe the sum total of their interests, so I thought
this would be a rich source of ideas.
