RVP Brad Kasperek has sent me a summary of the polling results for the 1998
AIS Iris Symposium (TB Popularity Poll) for Region 12 (Utah), which is
appended below:
1st - Tiger Honey
2nd - Bewilderbeast
3rd - Gnu Blues
4th - Tanzanian Tangerine
5th - Nigerian Raspberry, Pink Sapphire (tie)
6th - Hotdogs and Mustard
7th - Dazzling Gold, Gnu, Gnu Again (tie)
8th - Beverly Sills
9th - Silverado
10th - Violet Tiger
Folks who know their iris may imagine that they detect a certain bias
towards home-bred favorites in Region 12. Maybe we are just fortunate that
there are so many good ones!
