Dear Listers:
 
Tonight I am definitely in mourning.  After lovingly taking care of irises for many years, I have lost 2 of my favorites due to rot. 
 
I have lost Lemon Mist and Cherry Sparkle.  I was out several days ago to check on them and this evening found both with fans laying over with 90% rot on them.  No possible way to save either one.  I have had both of these for many, many years, given to me by a beloved aunt. 
 
I suppose that next year I will have to begin a search for these two as they were the only ones I had.  I am angriest at myself for not having checked them more often.
