Well, I have to say I am totally surprised.....
With only rain for water, and very little of that, I
visited my iris garden today and found quite a few
bloomstalks.
Harvest of Memories--2 plants
Queen Dorothy--2 plants
Little Showoff--4 plants
Smell The Roses--5 plants
Matrix--3 plants
Feedback--2 plants
Coral Charmer--5 plants
Immortality--1 plant
Lady Emma--2 plants
I planted between 6 and 12 of each of these in July and August.
They have had far less than the recommended one inch per
week for optimal rebloom. And each plant is sporting 2 or more
increases as well. Now, isn't it about time for frost ? <G>
