Re: REF:iris books in Canada?

From: Amy Moseley Rupp <amy@ece.utexas.edu>

The Canadian dollar is near all time lows against the US dollar. I'd
advise against ordering a book from a US source and paying shipping to
Canada if you can find the books in Canada and ship them within the
country.

If someone can take a look at the dust jacket of the given book, there
are list prices in both US and CDN dollars. Someone can send you that
info. If you do the exchange math you'll see that the CDN dollar
purchase is a better deal.

If you vacation in Canada, save your receipts and turn them in to the
provincial government -- you can get some of your provincial and sales
tax refunded (all of it on books -- none on hotels or meals, but on as
many souvenirs as you like). You can get the form from any Ontario
Welcome Centre or if not going to Ontario, try that province's or city's
welcome bureau /info bureau.
