To All:
This is what I was trying to express. From the Spring Equinox until
the Autumn Equinox, the length of the Day will increase the farther north
one goes. From the Fall Equinox until the Spring Equinox, the opposite is
true.
On the Arctic Circle, the sun does not set on the day of the Summer
Solstice, but does not rise on the Day of the Winter Solstice.
In June, it gets dark about 45 minutes earlier than it did in Kentucky
in June. However, in December, it stays light about 45 minutes longer than
it did in Kentucky in December.
