Well folks & Jim Jones, add this ;
First I shaved roots, then soaked in chlorox, cygon and miracle grow and
water for 24-48 hours. These rzs were from growers and obviouslly had been
out of ground for a while as all roots were dry. So perhaps the soaking
stimulated new growth thus the eyes developed more quickly thanks to miracle
grow.
Rzs that soaked 72 hours developed new roots which I left for planting.
