I'm so pleased to have Stepping Out. Checking the historic list
I discovered that my iris friend -- and benefactor who has given me
most of my iris - has sent me many historic iris. Among them is One
Desire, my all time favourite. It just takes my breath away when it's in
bloom. Another favourite, not on the historic list, and I know little about
it except that it is a TB is Tangerine Sky. This year it just bloomed,
and bloomed and bloomed.
It looks as if I might have had/have iris borer in some of the iris I grow
in
a heavy clay soil. The mushy foliage looked familiar - but might that not
just be as a result of the foliage dying and rain? Please say yes. Many
thanks for referring me to the appropriate web site.
Cheryl Oke - where, finally, it is raining hard. Thought I might have to
start
watering againn.
