Sigh!!!!!
We have our only "major" iris show here this weekend (by major I mean that
the horticulture society show is entitled : Iris, Rhododendron and Azalea
Show) and we also got a frost like Jan did (even though we are 600km away).
We also had a few flakes fall here...... but just a few flakes and nothing
landed.
The irises however have NOT liked the frost. Guess who won't be enetering
in the show this weekend? I'm also wondering how many other people will be
doing so as the three main items in the show are all affected by frost.
My iris garden was in peak flower too!! There'll probably be some good
stuff in a week's time, but nothing for this weekend.
So.... my first line said it all!!
