Well WINTER QUEEN [Holk, '95] opened today. It has two branches and looks
like I can expect 10 to 12 buds. It is not as 'bright' as it is in the
spring but it is wonderful to see it. I also have a tremendous stalk on
WINDS OF CHANGE [Hager, '93] and and another on MARIPOSA SKIES [Tasco, '96].
Actually MARIPOSA SKIES looks like it will have three branches on the stalk.
I can hardly wait. This one is proving to be quite reliable.
