Hello Iris Gang:
This has been an interesting series on spiders, etc. If you want to read
about insects in general (not spiders, though) I'd recommend a book titled
something like THE OTHER ORDER by a woman named Sue Hubbell. There is an
extensive discussion of daddy longlegs. She is a book editor part time in
Washington, DC--and the rest of the year she lives on a honey farm in
Missouri Ozarks. She has written a magnificient book on bees also...but
the title escapes me. This book is for the general reader, not scientists
exclusively...though all will enjoy her remarkable research and writing.
