We in the Midwest have some nasty little anti-social critters called Brown
Recluse Spiders. Their bite is highly poisonous if you happen to invade
their hidey holes while cleaning or searching through areas that are seldom
disturbed. ( I'm grateful to them for providing an excuse for never having
cleaned out a storage closet in our garage since it was built.) We also
have harmless (?) field spiders that grow huge and weave humongous webs and
glare at me through beady little eyes. But who could spray any spider
after reading Charlotte's Web to their children umpteen times? From a safe
distance I inspect every web to discover any messages woven therein.
Black Widows and Tarantulas I would lose sleep over. Ann Henson
