Sounds as if I should have planted it in the poppy patch, from whence I have
just rescued SNOWBROOK, ROYALIST, and CONJURATION, which were at risk of
shrivelling up and disappearing.

OBA OBA (Dunn) is about to flower, from a rz planted 6 months ago. DIVINE
has been divine, with heaps and heaps of many flowered stalks.
I have been doing lots of crosses, in particular with CELCIUS, over SDB's
and IB's, also some crosses using BEING BUSY pollen, have taken.
My first seedlings have opened! The first one, I was so disgusted
with(mustard, with twisted falls) that I wrenched it out and chucked it
away. I have had 3 IB crosses flower from MARSCAY X AZTEC BURST, which have
been pleasing, and are all quite different. I have pollenated them to see if
they are fertile. Some TB seedlings with buds. All these are from seeds
planted May '98, and the IB's were struggling so badly at one stage, I
transplanted them to pots, then again, into the garden.
SDB's are all but finished here, and IB's in full flower. Lots of TB's
starting to open this week.
