RE: OT:squirrel repellent

My house is called "Squirrelheim" for the large number of squirrels that
throng my tall oak trees. I'd have no tulips at all -- and certainly no
crocus, and far more ancillary damage -- if it weren't for Ro-Pel, a
terribly-bitter liquid critter-repellent. Soak the bulbs in it for about 5
min, let dry, and plant -- good on anything except foodstuffs. Keeps the
deer away, too.

Oct. Bull. not usually received until time for Fall Board M'g, in my area.
Evidently, Chris you are not bothered with moles and voles that love tulip
bulbs which draws them, and then start on your favorite, rare irises.
