Rick and Roger included Mariposa Autumn as a bonus with my order from
Superstition Gardens this year. It was sending up a rebloom stalk that was
just beginning to emerge from the fan when we got hit with temperatures in
the low 20's three nights in a row (last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). I
assumed that it was enough to put an end to the Mariposa Autumn stalk and a
slightly more emergent one on Champagne Elegance, but it appears that both
stalks are still green and growing. Like Maureen's, our temperatures have
warmed back up and are supposed to stay that way for at least another week.
However, chances of actually seeing bloom on either of these stalks are
still quite slim. To date I have never had successful rebloom this late in
the season.
