Barbara,
If she is able to dig, then I would pot them up right away. Get as much dirt
as possible with the plant. If she is able to plant at the new home then she
should get them right back in the ground! If her flower beds are not ready
then she might want to plant pot and all! If that is not at all possible,
then, perhaps she could plant them, pot and all, in your yard until next
spring or
whenever her beds are ready. The sooner the better!!
