This actually sounds like a better way of doing the poll to me. It
would eliminate some of the poor growers from the list.
You mentioned the AHS. Their poll is write in only, and is tabulated by
a designated person within each AHS region. Each member is allowed up to 25
votes. Although awkward, it probably has more meaningful results.
Hemerocallis fulva, the "Ditch Lily" of the north, happened to be one of my
votes. It is blooming now, for the second time this summer.
