Hi Don,
While we may be in the minority, there are a few iris lovers around
who like some of the modern iris trends, like good substance and
nice colors, but prefer the simple artist elegance of the classical
iris form. I haven't heard anyone claiming to breed for those
characteristics. Unless fashion trends change, I wouldn't think
there'd be much chance of a Dykes Medal there or much
market.
