Steve, you have already received the info you wanted, but I want to add that
RARE EDITION is really a "rare" specimen. It has been a big favorite of
mine (along with VANITY) since its introduction. I had it the first year
when introduced, and planted it in the bed that one saw when entering my
garden, and EVERYone raved about it and wanted to know what it was! It
really gotthe attention and I was sure it would be a sell-out, so I phoned
Gatty. They appreciated the call and said they hoped it would catch-on here
in the USA, but the biggest demand was from Europe, especially Germany! I
gave a piece to a non-iris friend who planted it in the corner of their
front border years ago, and it is thriving like "gangbusters" and everyone
wants to know about it! I know you'll feel the same as the years go by,
there are some irises you just can't give up! Rosalie nr Baltimore,USA
