Prior to joining AIS, I always washed iris in a bleach solution. One cup for each gallon of water and I never rinsed the bleach solution. In addition I dusted the iris with
ag. sulphur. I seldom had any rot problems. What is the significance of rinsing the iris and what happens if it is not rinsed. Just curious as I now rinse for club sales.
