I have been soooo frustrated by this inclement weather we have been having
for the last few days. Today after work, it was clear so I headed out to
clear blackberries, and after a few wheel barrow loads, it started to rain
again. I found myself a noce protected spot under the dense cover of the
wattle trees, and out of the wind, and managed to stay in the garden for an
extra hour, weeding contentedly, and keeping dry!
What wooses you calves are!
Do you have any irises blooming yet Wendy?
I have Baby Blessed, and I. schachtii, both looking bedraggled from the
rain. Plenty of fat little buds coming though. MURMUR is a favourite of
mine, and should bloom very soon, along with the extremely reliable MAKING
EYES, and another trusty one CHERRY CHILD. SCION, BEING BUSY, LITTLE
BUCCANEER, all have buds pushing up, along with around 10 of my 1998 SDB
crosses, which I just can't wait too see. (guess I will have too though!)
Cheers, Jan
