I wonder if the cultivar you refer to as "Silver Zebra" is identical to the
commonly grown pallida with chalky white (no cream or yellow tones)
variegation that is designated as ARGENTEA in the 1939 AIS Checklist, or ir
it something different?

I found your contribtion to this discussion on breeding for variegated
foliage very enlightening. Thanks!
